Coordination of Sectoral Statistics Development 2025

Tuesday (4/2), the Head of BPS Kulon Progo Regency, Sumarwiyanto together with the Sectoral Statistics Development Team visited the Regional Secretariat Office (Sekda) of Kulon Progo Regency and the Regional Development Planning Research and Innovation Agency (BAPPERIDA) of Kulon Progo Regency. This visit was carried out in order to coordinate the development of sectoral statistics activities for 2025.

The first visit was carried out to BAPPERIDA Kulon Progo Regency. The team from BPS Kulon Progo Regency was received by the Head of BAPPERIDA Kulon Progo Regency, Ir. M. Aris Nugroho, M.M.A.

He expressed his support and was ready to synergize with BPS and Data Guardians in order to improve the quality of the implementation of sectoral statistics activities.

Furthermore, the Team from BPS Kulon Progo Regency visited SEKDA Kulon Progo Regency. Triyono, S.IP., M.Si, Regional Secretary of Kulon Progo Regency welcomed the Team from BPS Kulon Progo Regency in his office. On that occasion, Sumarwiyanto conveyed several things that could be improved in relation to the implementation of sectoral statistical activities in Kulon Progo Regency, including statistical consistency, socialization and literacy of statistical data, and utilization of Big Data. Human Resources handling statistical activities in Regional Apparatus Organizations/Services/Agencies should also receive attention so that sectoral statistical activities can be carried out in accordance with the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) rules. The Regional Secretary said that he would support sectoral statistical development activities. He hopes that the quality of sectoral statistical data will increase along with the development that is carried out continuously.
