Wednesday (19/2), in order to strengthen the role of change agents in the BPS environment throughout the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), the DIY Province BPS held an event "Inauguration and Development of BPS Change Champions and Change Ambassadors throughout the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province 2025" in the Bima Room. The Head of Kulon Progo Regency BPS, Sumarwiyanto, also attended this event along with the 2025 BPS Kulon Progo Regency Change Ambassadors, namely Fatimah Latief, Herbowo Tri Nugroho, and Galuh Widyastuti.

Furthermore, the event was combined with a coaching session with the material "Strengthening Core Values
of Morality to
Realize Impactful Bureaucratic Reform" by Dina Rizkiani from the Bureaucratic Reform Team, BPS RI Planning Bureau, and "Tips for Achieving Success
ZI Work Units towards WBK/
WBBM" by the Main Expert Statistician of the DIY Province BPS, Sentot Bangun Widoyono.
At the end of the event, several awards were presented as a form of appreciation given by the DIY Province BPS to the BPS Regency/City Work Units (Satker) for their best performance in several categories. BPS Kulon Progo Regency won 2 awards, namely as the Best Work Unit in Administrative Management in 2024 and as the Best Work Unit in the Quality of Susenas Field Data for September 2024.
