In carrying out its duties, the Kulon Progo Regency BPS always collaborates with various parties, including the local government, communities, statistical partners who help BPS carry out census/survey activities, and the wider community.
The Kulon Progo Regency Government is one of the strategic partners in supporting the provision of quality statistical data.
On Monday (16/6) at the Novotel Temon Hotel, Kulon Progo, the Kulon Progo Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) Service held the Opening of the Sipedet Cantik Technical Guidance (Bimtek) activity, a Family-Based Socio-Economic Data Collection System for the Love of Statistics Village in 2025. The Bimtek activity which was opened by the Head of the Kulon Progo Kominfo Service, Agung Kurniawan, S.IP., MSi. was also attended by the Acting Head of the DIY Province BPS, Ir. Herum Fajarwati, MM, and the Head of the Kulon Progo Regency BPS, Drs. Sumarwiyanto.
BPS Kulon Progo Regency and BPS DIY Province collaborated with Kulon Progo Communication and Information Service by becoming resource persons in the activity which will be held in 10 sub-districts in Kulon Progo. A total of 825 participants consisting of 505 PPL officers, 234 PML officers, 76 village coordinators, and 10 sub-district coordinators were trained on material on concepts and definitions, methodology, and the use of android-based applications as provisions in carrying out data collection tasks in the field. Hopefully, the cooperation and synergy between BPS Kulon Progo Regency and Kulon Progo Communication and Information Service can be established even better as a sustainable effort to improve data quality and accuracy.
