Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 reached 96.98 thousand hectares, a decrease of 8.72 thousand hectares or 8.25 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 105.69 thousand hectares. Rice production in 2024 was 452.83 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 81.28 thousand tons or 15.22 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 534.11 thousand tons of GKG. Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption reached 257.22 thousand tons, a decrease of 46.17 thousand tons or 15.22 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 303.39 thousand tons.
