Abstract

The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2024 reached 103.86, up 0.86 percent compared to the previous month, which was 102.97. The Farmer's Exchange Rate for the food crops sub-sector was 101.54; the horticulture sub-sector 125.45; the smallholder plantation sub-sector 107.25; the livestock sub-sector 101.98; and the fisheries sub-sector 88.87. The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in two sub-sectors, namely: food crops by 3.65 percent; and fisheries by 0.14 percent. Meanwhile, three sub-sectors fell, namely horticulture by 5.78 percent; smallholder plantation crops by 5.45 percent; and livestock by 0.39 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2024 was recorded at 106.80, up 0.24 percent compared to the previous month of 106.55.
The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2024 generally reached 126.17, experiencing deflation of 0.86 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 127.27.
Of the 38 provinces in July 2024, the NTP in 23 provinces increased while 15 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bengkulu at 3.48 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Central Sulawesi at 4.69 percent.
