Abstract

The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in August 2024 reached 104.30, up 0.42 percent compared to the previous month, which was 103.86. The Farmer's Exchange Rate for the food crops sub-sector was 103.15; the horticulture sub-sector 124.93; the smallholder plantation sub-sector 107.79; the livestock sub-sector 99.84; and the fisheries sub-sector 89.23. The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in three sub-sectors, namely: food crops by 1.58 percent; smallholder plantation crops by 0.50 percent and fisheries by 0.40 percent. Meanwhile, two sub-sectors fell, namely livestock by 2.10 percent and horticulture by 0.41 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in August 2024 was recorded at 106.61, down 0.18 percent compared to the previous month of 106.80.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in August 2024 generally reached 125.31, experiencing deflation of 0.68 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 126.17.
