Abstract

The economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the second quarter of 2024 reached IDR 48.50 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 30.94 trillion. The DIY economy in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2023 grew by 4.95 percent (Y-on-Y). The highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field at 13.32 percent, followed by Financial Services, and Construction, respectively at 9.08 percent and 8.50 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure component serving Households (PK-LNPRT) at 10.05 percent, Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) at 8.11 percent, and Government Consumption Expenditure (PKP) at 5.53 percent.
