The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2024 reached US$47.94 million or increased by 7.85 percent compared to June 2024. Compared to July 2023, the export value increased by 28.35 percent.
The largest exports in July 2024 were to the United States at US$21.74 million, followed by Germany at US$3.68 million, and Australia at US$2.37 million. The contribution of the three reached 57.97 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union were US$11.43 million and ASEAN was US$0.95 million.
The largest increase in exports in July 2024 compared to June 2024 occurred in essential oils, perfumed cosmetics at US$1.56 million. Conversely, the largest decrease was in knitted goods at US$1.19 million.
By sector, exports of processed industrial products in July 2024 rose 7.93 percent compared to June 2024. In contrast, exports of agricultural products fell 10.00 percent. Compared to July 2023, exports of agricultural products rose 5.88 percent, while exports of processed industrial products rose 28.46 percent.
By province of loading port, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2024 were sent via Central Java at 67.65 percent, followed by DKI Jakarta at 30.66 percent, the Special Region of Yogyakarta at 1.31 percent, East Java at 0.38 percent, and Bali with a percentage approaching zero.
